A note for parents

This service is intended to be used by a child only through an account created, owned, and supervised by their parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or guardian, creating or approving an account means you are consenting, on your child's behalf, to the data practices described below. If you have questions, or want to review, export, or delete your account's data, contact sathar.shameer@gmail.com at any time.

What we collect

  • Account info from sign-in: email address and name.
  • Every message sent to the chat and every AI-generated reply, kept in a write-only safety/audit log - this is never fed back into the live chat, it exists only so we can review what was said if there's ever a concern.
  • Automated safety scores for each message, produced by a second, independent content-moderation check run on every conversation turn alongside the AI model's own built-in safety filter.
  • Basic usage data: how many messages are sent per day, to enforce a daily limit.

Why we collect it

To operate the chat service itself, to maintain a safety record of conversations in case of concern or misuse, and to enforce a daily usage limit. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles from it.

Who can see it

Only the operator of this service. We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with third parties, except as needed to run the underlying infrastructure: cloud hosting, the AI model provider that generates replies, and a content-moderation provider that screens each message and reply for safety concerns - or if required by law.

How long we keep it

Chat transcripts in the safety/audit log are currently kept indefinitely. Usage-limit data (message counts) is automatically deleted after a few days. We're reviewing a shorter retention period for chat transcripts too - contact us if you'd like your account's history deleted sooner.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to the service requires signing in through a managed identity provider; we don't store passwords ourselves.

Your rights as a parent

You can ask us, at any time, to tell you what data we have for your account, to correct it, or to delete your account and its associated chat history. Email sathar.shameer@gmail.com to make a request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
